You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Branch bonus still active as of this afternoon. Unfortunately, my dates were off and I'm only 46 months from my last bonus. 😪 So close! I'll just have to wait for the next offer like this.

I was told they do quarterly promotions. this should be good til June.
if I got a message that I got pre-approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® card in my chase online account, does it mean that i will get approved in the branch as well?
If i take the offer online, the bonus is only 60k points.

Should I cancel my CSP so I can do this deal again in 4 years?
You can product change your CSP to a chase freedom with ultimate rewards card instead of closing a credit card account. You can do this close to the 4-year mark after receiving the sign up bonus.
Would it be possible to get this deal and upgrade to the Reserve after I get the points? Is it worth it doing this way? Thanks in advance.
You can't product change it until you've had it for 1 year.

When you close the card has nothing to do with the 4 year clock- it's 4 years since you received the signup bonus... you could still be holding the card in month 47 without issue you just can't be holding it when you apply for the new one.
So if you find the card useful you can keep it, or- once you've had it open at least 1 year- you can product change it to a card you would find more useful.

I have the freedom, I got this card just so I can transfer points to Hyatt now since the freedom didn't allow that, the 90k bonus is nice - what should I do with the freedom? I stopped using it a while ago after I paid it off but considering they don't allow you to transfer points unless you at least a csp - should I close it?
Freedom gets you 5x points in common categories- why would you stop using it?

Thank you I forgot about this. That's the answer I was looking for.
does anyone know whether i can just walk in into the branch to apply the credit card without scheduling appointment? I check the earliest date for appointment is next monday and I am afraid the deal maybe gone.
I went in today and this is exactly what happened to me. She even called some number and they said they can't even see my chase cards in the past. So she created a new account and it let her apply for the card for me. Under review though.
Branch Banker called and I went back in - I was able to get approved but I think the banker ended up creating a new profile for me - sounds like that is what your banker did. No matter - just happy I'll get the 90k bonus bonus points offer now.

I finally found out the problem is that I was inside my 48 months. But not before a hard credit pull.

No, i was charged the fee after a few weeks
No have to keep at least a year you don't want to look like a red flag to them doing it just for the sign up bonus
Search around reddit for more info a ton of people talk about these cards there and strategies
