  • Works on most GM Vehicles (Chevy / Buick / GMC / Opel / Cadillac etc., from 2006-2022, Cars, SUV, Pickup) equipped with 315 or 433 MHz Tire Pressure Monitor system (TPMS) sensor.
  • Reset all tires much easier just with 3 steps. Ensure that the vehicle is in the TPMS Learn Mode, and follow the service procedure. Hold tool against the sidewall of the tire, near the valve stem. Depress Learn button while holding the tool against the tire sidewall.

after you do the tire rotation, put the TPMS system in learn mode, you will hear 2 honks, turning signal light will turn on to the corresponding tire, (driver side front, passenge side front, etc), aim the learning device to the tire, you will hear a honk confirming tire sensor has been registered, do the same for the remaining 3 tires, after you do the 4th tire you will hear 2 honks, that confirms all tires sensors have been registered.
Also, if you don't have this tool, you can still do the learning routine, instead of using the tool, you can let some of the air out of the tire until you hear the honk, do the same for the remaining tires

I have a 2021 Honda Accord. My vehicle doesn't require tools to adjust the TPMS. It measures how long it takes the tires to roll a certain distance to detect underinflation. If your Honda is newer, it probably uses the same system.

If it does, you put air in the tires, and reset the calibration on the dash screen. After driving a few miles it recalibrates.

You don't necessarily always need these to calibrate your TPMS, but if you need a new sensor you can use this to "pair" the new sensor to your TPMS system.

I worked on Ford family of makes for the longest time. Most cars makes "just work" with new compatible sensors.
This tool is specifically for the GM family, which I hate with a fiery passion.

Sound like a good car. My Toyota sucks, one TPMS failed, Toyota dealer asks $500+ for fix/replace it...

I got one on the last deal for $5, but I still don't understand how TPMS reset on mine will detect which sensor is which wheel when I do a rotation

You put your vehicle into TPMS learn mode and use this item near each wheel in a specific order (like front driver wheel 1st, then front passenger, etc.), so the system learns which wheel/sensor is at which position, to display on your dash readout of tire pressures.
