I added the

1/2" Drill/Driver (PLC206; Tool Only)

To my "collection" and am really glad I did.

Paired with a 4 amp battery (that I already had) it's been good for lug nuts and cv axle nuts. It did loosen the cv axle nuts..but I did the last part of the tightening with a torque wrench to ensure the nut was torqued in range.

It is not a replacement for an air compressor powered air gun....for stuck exhaust bolts,etc. But it's much more convenient with no air hose.

How are you getting the hack to work? I got a second impact as the free tool and I tried to return it twice, both times they said no I have to return everything.

You're supposed to have used separate delivery methods for each item then when the order is placed you go back in right away and cancel one of them. Then the one you don't want is automatically refunded. At least that's how I've understood it.

Does anyone have a breakdown of what the free gift is worth after the hack? The Ratchet, inflator or light would be nice at a cheaper price.

If you need more power, Ryobi has a few other ones out there, got one with 1170 foot pounds of torque last year when it was on sale for $159, now it's $259. There's also another one with 600 which should work for most automotive jobs.
