This is pretty underpowered at 375 ft-lbs of torque. My recommendation is to save up another $60 and get the high-torque model with 1170 ft-lbs at $179.

This is for the mid torque 1/2-in impact wrench. If you're going to be doing something like taking the lug nuts off trucks, I would steer away from this and if I wanted to save money, go with the Ridgid high torque 1/2-in impact that gives you 1,300 lb of nut busting torque. And still save some money as opposed to the Milwaukee.

I agree. I have the Ridgid and it's a beast! When on sale, it's a real value.

Is 275 or 375 ft.lb. good for a DIYer doing work on compact car removing bolts on sway bars, motor mounts, and struts/shocks? I wouldn't need 1,000+ ft.lb. do I?
