You couldn't be more wrong. All of my tools are exclusively Ryobi, and I haven't had a single issue with one of them. I have the 1/2" impact, and it works great...sooooooo

This is a great entry level tool for those DIYers.

Even if it's brushed it still is pretty potent. It's more than capable to remove truck lug nuts and shock absorber bolts (personal experience)

Pair this with the 3/8 rachet and this is a great bargain for those who want to start building up a tool set for working on their vehicle on the weekend.

Hacking question. So I ordered for store pickup, at two different stores. The free item (that I don't want) will be available later today, but impact gun won't be ready until 4/10-4/13 at a different store. If I don't pick up the free item, will the impact gun order be cancelled? Basically do I need to pick up the free item, or can I ignore it so I don't have to bother driving out there to return it later?

I was able to order both the impact and the free tool, and then cancel the free tool.

However, when I ordered through a web browser, I only had the option of cancelling the whole order. I had to use the Home Depot app to cancel just the free tool.

Not sure why you are getting down votes. You are correct. Motor Type - Brushed.
Some environments shouldn't use tools capable of making lots of sparks. Say pulling a gas tank for example.
