I signed up for the card and realized I only got 90k points and no $200 credit. Call Amex right away and canceled the card. They said I don't have to pay the annual fee. Do I need to wait to sign up for the card again?
You can't since you alrdy had the card -- should've kept it for 90k
If you try applying again you'll get a pop up saying you're not eligible for the bonus when you submit the app
"Welcome offer not available to applicants who have or have had this Card or the Premier Rewards Gold Card. We may also consider the number of American Express Cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer eligibility."

I have some MR points and planning to cancel my platinum card which i signed up last year I have two questions.
1) what is the best way to transfer these points to a no annual fee credit card?
2) Once I cancel this will i be eligible for the Gold card bonus if I apply one ?

Amex pools all MR pts under your name/SSN to a single MR account -- the pts stay alive as long as you keep one MR card open
You're better off applying for Gold first and wait a few days for it to link your existing MR account then cancel the Plat so you keep existing pts alive
Make sure its been a full yr from opening otherwise Amex will clawback your Plat bonus for closing within 1yr -- safer to let annual fee post then cancel (annual fee will be refunded within 48 hrs to even out the charge)
I got the regular "Amex Everyday" card in the past since it has MR pts and no annual fee -- keeps my MR account alive and I can bank the pts without having to worry about losing them (have opened and closed Plat/Gold/Green/Schwab in the past for MR bonuses)

I got a additional gold card with my platinum for a family member with No additional fee, will that impact this bonus If I get a new gold card?
In the process for applying got the pop up saying I wouldn't qualify for the signup offer. I have had the platinum card since July 2022 and haven't had this card before.
Amex must be cracking down. Do I ever get out of the pop up?

Nobody knows the exact set of rules they use for the popup ban for new SUBs... some folks report it going away after various periods of time with no clear pattern to how, why, or when... also targeted offers bypass it.
