I don't really need this but man it's so tempting at this price, I wonder if their going to be releasing a newer model so their trying to get rid of these
Got one to go with my Monoprice 1x12" Vintage 30 (8ohm) speaker cabinet.
This is in addition to the recently acquired Blackstar HT-5R Combo (A rare and unusual sale from Sweetwater.com).
Hopefully, the amps would play well with each other in stereo.
You would never find another new all-tube 50-watt guitar amp head at this price elsewhere like other musical instrument stores for sure.
Their prices have been crazy high ever since the pandemic.
They have not resumed their usual prices.

I'm so tempted... but I'm saving money for a Harmony Silhouette guitar. Plus I really don't need 50w.. I too have that ht5r and love it. As well as my monoprice 15w tube.
My only problem is that monoprice has messed up my last two orders.
Shipping me the wrong thing, or still having not shipped another order 10 days later.
update: yes. need to make a special cable that connects to the speaker directly.
You don't want to feed the output of an amp to the input of another amp. Not unless of course your goal is to destroy and amp. Then by all means, please go ahead b
I didn't go with the 50W amp because it's more than I need right now, but I saw their 30W 1x12 stack was also on sale for $358.39 so I got that - https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=611830
SAVE25 worked for that too. Considering they sell just the cabinet for $210 that's not a bad deal. I'll miss having the independent EQ for each channel but this will just be for home use so its not a big deal.
The 15w Combo of this was a rebadged Laney Cub, which was excellent. I had both, they were identical and sound great. Not sure if this is the same white-label type product, I suspect it is, but the components are all nice. If you're buying Indonesian/Malaysian/Chinese pcb-based tube amp, why pay more for a name brand

With tubes the 15W is the Goldy locks.
Effects loop connections can be used for different combinations; but I agree, BE CAREFUL.
1. Always make sure a matching ohms speaker(s) is connected or bye bye amp if not connected at all. Especially when switching speakers.
2. Yeah don't hook the high power amp into low level guitar input.

Great deal, thanks OP! I almost ordered at the $232 price earlier, now I saved $25!

P.S. These used to come with JJ tubes, we shall see if they still do.
