For folks asking about the 12 months of service part, all of that is answered in the original thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16487416-mint-mobile-128gb-google-pixel-7-unlocked-smartphone-12-month-4gb-plan-289-recovery-fee-port-in-required-free-s-h?page=76#commentsHeader

tldr: Needs to be a ported in number. GV works (create a new gmail account, pay google $3 to port out). People who dont care about the 12 months mint service can just discard the activation kit and treat this as a $289 unlocked phone.

Oh - I see it as a non-factor. Most are getting the deal (seemingly) for the good price on the phone. I don't even want the plan shipped with it, was able to flip it for $50 bucks.

I've received the order confirmed email, one order has a different shipping and billing address and the other order has the same address.

Seems, both trigger's orders are confirmed.
Do you think, these orders will ship the phone?
How long it has taken for order confirmation email

I have a phone # from long time ago now tied to an iPad service in my AT&T family plan. They told me i could no longer use that number as a phone service when I requested it to be converted to a phone line at one time. I wonder if I could use this to port-in somehow and what that will do to the iPad cellular.
Run it through the port checker on mint's site.

Yes, that is part of the $289 price. $199 for the phone and $90 for the first 6 months of service. Then 6 more months free assuming you port in a number.
Hey Bird, where to easily sell this pixel 7 phone , unopened box? let me know.

Why do you want the old number to port in? Simply throw away it and you can use the google voice number and pay 3$ to get unlock from google and use that number to port into Mint mobile. Then, you can use it wherever you want
I happen to like that number... it bummed me when they said i cannot use it for phone service anymore, which seems odd.

No idea, my guess would be Swappa, Ebay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, the usual suspects.

From my personal experience: you can use any number anywhere. What differs is the number of hoops that you may have to jump through. I had a landline in the 1990's that I eventually wanted to use as my cell number. Verizon and Sprint said no. I kept it as my landline until about 3 years ago. Ported it to Google Voice in less than a week, then ported it to Verizon in a few days. So in less than two weeks, I had my same number as my mobile number. This was really important to me because I have relatives and friends overseas that have used this number since the 90s to reach me and I couldn't imagine starting from scratch with a different number
