PPS stands for programmable power supply. It allows chargers to vary their output in a way that enables super fast charging for some advanced devices, like recent Samsung smartphones.

I got this when I tried to choose it in white. In black it shipped fine.
My intention is to use it to charge my Thinkpad X1 when I'm not home but my only concern if this charge (or the monoprice one) could potentially mess it up if it isn't a quality item.

For weight they are similar, and due to its square shape, the Anker uses up less plug real-estate. I don't have devices that need or benefit from PPS, so I actually use the Amazon GaN charger more often since it charges my Pixel 7 Pro a little faster/more consistently.
For some reason the Anker varies wattage more often during a charge session (according to my USB C cable that has a little wattage display). Due to the wattage-varying behavior, the Anker ends up charging my phone more slowly (maybe more gently, but speed is my goal in the morning).

1. The Amazon Basics 65W charges cool while the Anker 715 65W charges pretty warm
2. Volume wise the Anker is a tad smaller, but it's also 0.7 oz heavier, enough to be noticeable (Amazon is 3.4 oz where the Anker is 4.1 oz)
3. Anker 715 is $35 at the time of purchase (3/21), where the Amazon is $15.
For these reasons, I cannot justify the Anker and will be returning it and be getting another Amazon basics 65W.
Thanks for the deal and the early heads up!
