Also, the 15W has the 1W switch as well. The 5W is a good little amp if that's all you need but doesn't have the extra tone knobs and reverb that the 15W has. In hindsight, I'd have gone straight to the 15 Watter if I'd have known how great all of these Stage Right tube amps sound.

This is a very basic amp. If you know you want it for some specific reason, then this is a good price. But most people would be better served by getting monoprice's 15w tube amp. Whenever it might go on sale appropriately.

The 1w switch works and is helpful for lowest volume and can be used to kick it up fast for solos.

I ordered the morning of 3/22 and received a message that the order was processing. I heard nothing else for several days. I sent an email inquiring about status and received (on 3/28) the following response:

"I sincerely apologize for the delay in receiving your order. We have experienced a high volume of orders due to our sales and promotions causing shipping delays. The goal is to have all delayed orders shipped within the next 24-48 hours. However, that is not a guarantee."

I have received no further information. I am not in a great hurry to get this since I don't need it immediately (or at all for that matter). However, I will be very unhappy if a week from now I'm informed that the order can't be fulfilled. I've had no negative experiences with Monoprice prior to this (in fact; quite the contrary.) I ordered the el cheapo $57 strat clone recently and received it much more quickly than expected (within 3 or 4 days.)

Thanks for the reply. I'm with you on not actually being in a hurry. I just figured they would have either cancelled it or shipped it by now.

Same boat as you - I received that exact same email 3 days ago and just sent a follow up email asking what is going on. It is beyond ridiculous that 9 days after ordering, the product still hasn't shipped out, but the order page says " In Stock This item should ship today (3/31/2023) if ordered within 3 hours 31 minutes".

[edit] My amp shipped last night and I got a $25 coupon for my next order

I was informed at 7:15PM 3/29 that information was sent to FedEx. However, when I check the tracking number provided, I am informed that "No information of your tracking number (number deleted by me here) has been received by FedEx Tracking system yet. Please try again later or contact FedEx Tracking at [+1] 800-463-3339." Are you certain that your amp actually shipped? How were you notified of the coupon?
