Made in Vietnam
Says country of origin is the USA but outsourced from china. If your into taking a risk with your pet that's on you. These are reviews on amazon. Also some folk say there dog has been fine with this brand. Not into china brand dog treats or foods.
What about Asian grocery stores where most everything is sourced from Asia? China, Vietnam, I have eaten foods made from there my whole life without any problems. Many Asian people in America eat Asian (China, Vietnam, Thailand) sourced/made dry and packaged foods daily. If you have eaten at an Asian restaurant, you have 100% eaten something made in China whether it be the noodles, seasoning, or sauce that is used in cooking the food.

well I'm Asian and I eat out at Asian restaurants from time to time and those are usually made from "fresher" produces and ingredients? I understand with globalization one really can't escape anything 100% especially from china or Vietnam but I'll be damned if I bought dried packaged shit from Vietnam or china for myself or my two dogs. But hey, that's just me

Coming from a veterinary, treats should be bought only if they're from the US preferably (I think Mexico is also acceptable). Cheap dog food or treats ultimately have a very bad effect, mainly causing liver problems.
I think every country have acceptable and non-acceptable ingredients. It's just hard as a consumer to tell what to do. For example, I couldn't remember what ingredient Mexico put in the hand sanitizer, but it is carcinogenic and prohibited here in the US. Certain brands of US made fabric softeners are carcinogenic and banned in Taiwan (not good for your dryer anyways as it creates a layer of residue stuck to the machine). A red dye for candy from the States is also banned in the UK. I buy Chinese-made products except for food because the farmlands often times don't have fresh water and I remember watching a documentary about some of the farmlands made with really blackened water.

With that being said, I would buy pet treats from any countries I know that has stringent standards. The problem is, I don't know enough as a consumer about it.

Well the obvious flaw with your argument is food and safety standards, dog food and treats are not held to the same standards as human food is.

That's true that every county might have things acceptable. Given the product here what i can say is that a veterinary has told me that many dogs that come with liver problems have been fed either dog treats or dog food coming from Vietnam and China. My advice for that reason is not to buy those treats.
