I got a bill for 107 and some cents. I canceled the service within 24 hours (within buyers remorse policy they said) and was told that I will not be charged but got an email this morning for the bill.

Called them explaining I canceled within 24hours and the representative told me I should be credited back for the days I did not use on the next billing cycle. Since I did not use any days of service in the billing cycle, I should be credited back the whole month. The representative told me my activation fee may also be waived but was not completely sure.

She ended up reversing my payment I made for the 107 recently and told me to wait for the next billing cycle.
she also mentioned credit back in the form of a prepaid card, but as she reversed my payment, I did not ask further. I'll just wait until the next billing cycle.

As for the unlock code. My phone is still locked sadly. She told me I tried too many times within 24 hours so I have to try again tomorrow. I also called to make a case to unlock and that could take a few days to get back to me. Fortunately she did tell me I should be able to get it unlocked as I paid the phone in full at the time of purchase. So I have to figure out my next steps in unlocking.
Why 24 hours? It's 14 days

There is an update date of March 28 at the bottom of the new AT&T policy webpage.
Basically if you buy the phone after March 28, the old policy doesn't apply to you. You have to wait 60 days.

Even if you bought before the 28th they are still refusing to honor it apparently.

Why did you pay the $107 in the first place?

I got $115
I got $117 and the number never ported from tello, so I'm definitely asking for those charges to be removed.

Well at least others received the phone. I've been back and forth with BBY and AT&T to get line ported in and had my order canceled today.

I was also unsuccessful through chat in getting this unlocked with the person citing the newly changed policy (even though she claims it's always been that way). What I did not like is that she said it has to be active for 60 days, not just 60 days after purchase. My plan was to cancel service and throw it in a drawer for 60 days and then unlock.
So it seems (at least to me) that if I want to use this on T-Mobile, I need to pay for 2 months of service, unlock, and then cancel.Bummer. So my $300 deal is closer to $550 when it's all said and done. Still not a bad deal for a $1800 phone, so just need to figure out if this is the phone I want long term. Not sold yet on the size.
worst case scenario, I cancel this week and throw it on Swappa to try and break even

Got a $112 bill after being told I wouldn't get charged anything. Now I have to call and complain about this after jumping through hoops to get the unlock code. This deal really sucks with the amount of time and effort it is taking.

Same case here. I dont want to sell on Swappa as you have to file 1099 if you sell any item over $600. Dont know what to do. Its all my fault as I had to chance to cancel the phone as my porting process was not getting completed due to incorrect Pin. I called Metro for correct pin to complete the process yesterday. As soon as port in was completed, they changed the pollicy.

Ask them to create an case, and it should be unlocked within 24 hours.

I got charged $100+ as well. Refused to waive my activation charge until i quoted the service agreement. It can be found here:
