Not sure if we actually have to pay the bill or not. In case we do. Currently Chase has at&t offer.
Offer Details
Earn $50 back when you make two new, qualifying wireless plan payments of at least $37.50 each with AT&T Wireless using your eligible card associated with this offer.

My bill is $115. I was told to wait for final bill to see the actual amount by the rep.

Did you get your final bill yet? Wondering when they are sent out in relation to cancellation.
I didn't receive any bill after unblocking. Has anyone had the same no bill since unlocking and canceling

An update on my unlocking experience...I attempted to unlock the phone last week with no luck. Finally canceled my account under 'buyers remorse'. The agent was very friendly and had no issue with cancelling the account. Last Thursday I filed a FCC complaint regaring Unlocking. Received an email from AT&T on Monday requesting a copy of the receipt from BestBuy, and provided the same day. Today I received a call form a young man with AT&T (Office of The President) with the unlock code. Put it in the phone while he was one the phone with me and it worked. He was very pleasant and friendly. Case closed.

My first bill is $111.xx and when I called in for correction, was told to wait exactly a month or when the final bill is generated as it would have the correction. If it was not corrected then I needed to call in again and they would adjust it.
BTW, I did draw the CSR's attention to AT&T's TOS legal doc (section 2.4.5) which states no charge if service canceled within 14 days and a refund on the activation fee if canceled within 3 days and alluded to sharing this violation with FCC and my State's AG. The CSR stated that everything was noted on my account and was confident that it would be addressed in the final bill.

AT&T's TOS document is attached in case anyone needs to refer it.

They activated my line on 28th March, but the phone was delivered yesterday. Does it allow me to cancel as 3 days from activation or i have to fight for this?

It is absurd if AT&T claims that the phone was activated even before you received it.
My order was generated on 03/25 but the phone was physically received on the 28th and that's when the port-in happened and my line activated. That is what I considered the activation date and was my argument with the CSR who agreed. Worst case scenario I would put this in my complain to FCC and my State's AG if it comes to that.

Make sure you have the date/times recorded in case you have to fight it

I received the phone 2 days ago and I just called to cancel. Their records showed activation last Friday but when I explained I had not even received the phone until Monday and first put the SIM in yesterday, the CSR accepted that as the activation date without any pushback, and assured me I would not be charged anything.

Here's the link to the Terms of Service, see Section 2.4.5:

https://www.att.com/legal/terms.c...ement.html

The cancel process was easy but for the fact that they are having "system issues" and she said she'd have to call me back to finish. She reassured me that she noted approval for the cancellation in the account. Or so the Germans would have us believe.

if nothing else works, pop-in the sim back into yoru Z FOld3 and use the myAT&T app to submit an unlock request. I had the exact same issue and after being shot down at the device unlock portal & AT&T reps, this is what worked.
If your in-phone request goes through, you will receive an status check URL. DO NOT loose it. Forward it yto your regular phone as backup and keep checking it twice a day. I got my unlock after 2 days by checking that URL, no other email or phone notification.

good luck
So you did unlock request in myAtt app. Did you choose as ATT customer with ported in number? Or not a customer with IMEI and different email and phone number? You got status check with error that it can't be unlocked, but you saved this link and after two days it showed you your unlock code? I read here that unlock was either sent via email, after confirmation or by customer service agent via call back.

If I tried three times to get unlock with ATT.com/unlock after SIM swap route and it says wait 24 hours, may I try the way you suggest through myAtt application? Or should I wait until today's night as 24 hours cooling is over?

Filed complaint with FCC on the 30th. Submitted information to ATT Office Of President on the 3rd. Received unlock code today (5th).

For those wondering....I canceled my service first and tried unlock but was denied. I was later billed $4.04 and I went through with the following above.

4 business days.....not bad.

May get the $4 waived but this has been a ride so I might just pay it and be done with all of this lmao.

Sit on it for 24 hours and then use the AT&T app to submit the unlock request as an AT&T customer using your active (Z Fold3) Phone #. if the request is submitted, you will get a text with a Unlock Status URL. Save that and check peridicallyYou should the

Agree, being in storage could cause this issue. Anyway, Samsung covers one free replacement so call in the and hope you have a repair shop within reasonable distance
One free replacement? Isn't this protector a part of the phone? If so, it should be covered for the duration of the warranty - is it not the case?

Second that! Samsung claims that this protection is part of the phone, so it must be covered as many times as needed in warranty range.

I got the impression from previous posts that the counter is different for unlock portal and myATT app so you can try submitting a request through it but I'm not sure.

Nope, only one replacement of the inner/foldable screen protector, within 12 months of the purchase date.
