I second this. Not only are they easy to get out of the case (maybe slightly too easy as the longer stemmed bits fall out after I close the case) but the bit holders are a lot easier to change bits (than the previous impact gold). i prefer these greatly to the gold version.

This is the best set I have ever had. I highly recommend it, the bits are quality and the best part is the case is labeled. I strongly recommend this over the Milwaukee and Dewalt ones I've used.

Ditto. None of these impact bit sets that go on sale ever have hex bits. That Makita 60 piece does though...maybe why it never goes on sale.

Amazon Prime shipping is telling me it could be up until April 20th until I could get it shipped to me. I live in the middle of the United States.

Bought this off of Home Depot's site and it says it'll be here on March 30th.
Also, Home Depot regularly sells this set for $6 more than the deal price here.

Don't you love these sets?

Out of the 45 you maybe get a dozen of philips bits, even though they constantly go bad and then you get at least 20 star bits that almost never go bad.

Once you're staring at a drawer full of star bits you realize that these deals are not as good as they seem.

I have this set and keep it with my impact driver in a bag. Good construction, a couple pairs in case you lose some. This case is solid. I wish it had a hex head but those are harder to find. I've gotten my money worth out of it over the years.

You're right, I have not. Milwaukee is always my go to, because their deals often come with the Packout paraphernalia.

I do want to try it now. Even though I seriously doubt that I won't be able to damage one, I can still imagine something being much better than Milwaukee. Just like when I was humbled when I switched from the Dewalt bits to Milwaukee and was astounded just how much of a crap Dewalt bits really were.

A surprisingly large percentage of Milwaukee's extend bits are crooked out of the box. Has this been an issue with the Makita bits?

That bit set doesn't even have any Torx bits, let alone the variety of Torx bits this one has. So absolutely this Makita one is better.
