i have several of these in my very small backyard. I grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and more.

EDIT:
The website is messed up. The $30 price only shows for certain stores that have it in stock. When you go to "add it to the cart " it defaults to your regular store.
I got the $30 price by going incognito, select the store that has it and you can have it delivered to your home.

You can make your own for less than $15. I bought 2 of those yellow bins (with black lids) at Costco and made my own and they work pretty well; they're larger than these city pickers. I have a couple of those city pickers and they are very good for planting tomatoes.

Example of DIY if you have time

I have owned 8 of these for 5-6 years, and they've been consistently great for growing tomatoes and peppers. I have a black walnut tree in my yard, so I have to grow in containers. I have experienced one broken caster out of the 8 containers.

After all these years, the mulch cover gets tatty. I now cover with weed block fabric fastened 2ith garden staples.

I just bought 4 more boxes with this deal. Thank you OP.

It's often on sale at $20 around late spring at Lowe's.
Since the wheels are plastic, they could easily be broken after the first two years

I have them for about 5yrs now and going strong., I wouldn't worry about wheels

No luck in NJ.
Didn't find a sale price at any NJ store and when a sale price is locked from a NY store, the price revert back to the original price when shipping address is updated to NJ during the final purchasing step.
Let me know if you find a workaround.

Not from her but I have a neighbor that grows them in massive amounts so I have unlimited ones in the summer. Couple neighbors actually.

This zip code has it - 30339. But as soon as I entered my shipping address the price went back up to $40. Even when I used incognito browser with VPN. What's the trick to get $30?

Bought a couple when they were 26.97. They work great. Eventually the soil will make its way into the bottom but thats okay. Make sure you place these where you can see the overflow running out. I inserted a long oil funnel to help with filling. I like to freshen the soil every year and muck out the bottom. Dont plan on rolling them around a lot.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to pick up an oil funnel and maybe landscape fabric.

Thanks, ordered two for store pickup. Are these better than hydroponics? These show as regularly $55 each.
