Not anymore. They reduce the warranty to 36 months. I just got a new one (Interstate, made in Mexico) from Costco. It's noticeable lighter than the old one. I suspect they reduce the quality too.

Walmart is the best place to buy a battery.
IF a Walmart fails during warranty, Walmart is open 7 days a week,day and evening to replace it.
Also, a Walmart is almost always near by to return a battery
Buy a battery anywhere else, the store is likely not open 7 days or not evenings.
Buy a battery anywhere else, the store may be far away to exercise the warranty.

Another reason Walmart is best, battery returns/replacements is usually easy.
ANY WHERE else you buy a battery, they will likely give you a hard time on the warranty.

Walmart top line batteries, the MAXXes are low price and often top rated at Consumer Reports.

For the newer Ford owners, reset the Battery Management System (BMS) after replacing the battery. Turn on key or push start once without brake pressed, flash high beam headlights 5 times, press brake 3 times and wait for several seconds. If you live near a Rural King you'll find they have the best value in batteries.
A size 94R like this is $139 everyday and it has a 60 month warranty.

Most of their batteries are half the price of the auto parts store.
I have RK batteries in 2 cars, a truck, and a golf cart. All have done well.
I warranty exchanged one before in year 4 of 5 and it was ZERO hassle to get credit toward a new one.

I purchased all my battery from Costco. They all die right pass the 36-mths warranty expires.
Also, they only allow you to claim the failure under warranty once. Previously, they give you a pro-rated refund, the new battery replacement warranty would restart

Unsure what that means.. the warranty is worse and the Delco professional with slightly more CCA has only a 24 month warranty.

I don't want a warrantied POS that I have to deal with replacement but your claim that it's better without knowing why seems speculative, no disrespect intended.

Never had a problem with a blem from the interstate store. Multiple vehicles all tested out at 650+ cca before install. Last 3+years.
