Not anymore. They reduce the warranty to 36 months. I just got a new one (Interstate, made in Mexico) from Costco. It's noticeable lighter than the old one. I suspect they reduce the quality too.

Walmart is the best place to buy a battery.
IF a Walmart fails during warranty, Walmart is open 7 days a week,day and evening to replace it.
Also, a Walmart is almost always near by to return a battery
Buy a battery anywhere else, the store is likely not open 7 days or not evenings.
Buy a battery anywhere else, the store may be far away to exercise the warranty.

Another reason Walmart is best, battery returns/replacements is usually easy.
ANY WHERE else you buy a battery, they will likely give you a hard time on the warranty.

Walmart top line batteries, the MAXXes are low price and often top rated at Consumer Reports.

For the newer Ford owners, reset the Battery Management System (BMS) after replacing the battery. Turn on key or push start once without brake pressed, flash high beam headlights 5 times, press brake 3 times and wait for several seconds. I can't really speak to internal construction between the brand labels, but I will say that ACDelco has a higher standard to uphold as a GM OEM supplier. Their reputation for quality, long lasting batteries has been rock solid for many years. Given the choice between ACDelco and aftermarket brands like Everstart, Duralast, and Interstate, I'd buy the ACDelco if the price was the same. I'm the first to admit that this is speculation on my part as well, but it's hard to argue with many years of consistently high ratings by consumers. As I mentioned in another post, my last ACDelco AGM battery lasted for 6.5+ years. Any brand can occasionally have a bad apple go out to the marketplace and fail prematurely, but I consider ACDelco to be as good a bet as any when choosing between brands. If it happens to be the best AGM deal going, as it is currently, then all the better.

I want to update this post since I've learned a couple of interesting items since receiving this battery. It arrived undamaged and I checked the sticker on the battery to determine the month and year it was manufactured. The code on the battery is "G063R", which corresponds to June, 2023 but this seemed odd since it's only March, 2023. I emailed ACDelco to ask about this and their response was:

"The labels for batteries are pre-printed for an estimated number of batteries. When demand forces more production they use the labels that are printed for the next month or two. This just means that you have a very fresh battery."

OK, that seemed positive, but the next part was less so. The ACDelco email response continued:

"Wal-Mart is considered a third party vendor. All parts purchased through a third party vendor is only covered by any warranty the vendor supplies. ACDelco warranties do not apply to third party purchases. "

I contacted Walmart customer support and they really had no answer other than they would replace the battery if it failed, but had no written policy to support that. I'm still considering whether to roll the dice or return the battery for a refund. I wonder if this also applies to other sellers like Amazon?

I suppose the word "guarantee" is a bit of a stretch, but I'm still very confident this the case. The other brands are primarily sold at big box stores and more than likely have a longer warranty simply to get you back inside the store you bought it from because you'll probably buy other things while you're there. Many auto parts carry a lifetime warranty for this exact reason.

AC Delco Professional batteries like this one on the other hand are primarily sold at dealerships, independent shops, and smaller auto parts that wouldn't benefit from that sort of marketing.

None of the current AC Delco professional batteries have a 24 month warranty. The warranty period is 36 months for AGM batteries and 42 months for FLA batteries.

Interesting I don't have the reference in front of me but it basically stated only certain models had warranty xyz, the rep at summit concluded the 24 month warranty too, oh well.

I'm referring to one not in this thread, the only other Delco 94r h7 battery. Can find at summit

Not that anyone will read this, but Weize has just started selling Group 47/H5 and Group 48/H6 AGM batteries with 3 year warranty on Amazon for $109.99 and $119.99 respectively. I posted them earlier on a thread, but it was removed because they don't have enough reviews posted yet. Weize has great product reviews overall, and these prices are at minimum $50-$60 less than any other AGM on the market, and less than half of what you'll pay at your local auto parts store. Dirt cheap, and worth a look if you're car battery shopping. I just ordered an H6/48 to give it a try.

Thanks for the heads up! I have been trying to buy an H6 battery for several weeks at my local Walmart. Never in stock and they don't know when they will arrive.
Tried to order one shipped to my home from a store 50 miles away. Screen refreshes and then says none available at all.

Select that 50 miles away store again as "Home" store and it's back in stock for shipping, pick up and local delivery. Click to buy and gone again! Lost sale...
Just ordered the Weize and will get next Thursday. The packing box looks good on the pic.

Walmart's online ordering system is a hot mess at times. I'm happy that my comment helped someone. I ordered my Weize H6 this morning (4/7) and it shipped today via FedEx Ground from City of Industry, CA, and is scheduled for delivery Monday 4/10. I can't ask for better than that. These Weizes are going to be very popular at this price point; nothing else even comes close.

The Weize H6 just arrived. It has the best factory battery packaging I've ever seen and is in pristine condition with a full charge out of the box at 12.86V. Factory date code starts with 2312, which likely indicates that it was manufactured in mid to late March (12th week of 2023). Weighs in at 47.3 pounds, slightly more than the ACDelco H6 at 47.0 pounds and the Everstart H6 at 45.4 pounds. I'm looking forward to seeing how well it holds up. At first look it feels like a steal for $120.

Installed in a 2019 Ford Ranger XLT. The battery doing fine. Glad it was well packed with the spongy foam.
Looks like someone dropped it right on the corner of the box!
Probably the same person that broke the Indio guitar I bought!
Monoprice never sent a label to mail it back, so now I have an extra guitar to work on.
Battery arrived with 12.83 volts. I connect it to a C-Tech 5.0 charger.
All is well! What a great price too! $119.99 plus tax. Thanks for the info!

My mistake on the Jeep thing; my foggy memory thought you had mentioned a Jeep in an earlier comment but it was another commenter who also uses size H6. I ordered some liftgate struts from Amazon a few weeks back and they got the same treatment your guitar got. I sent photos but they never sent a return label either; they just issued a full refund. These days I buy nearly everything but perishable groceries and gasoline online. The prices are better if you know where to look and it's delivered to my door. Slickdeals has been a great source for deals on pretty much everything from coffee to tires to UHDTVs.
