Quick question -- it requires you to port in your number. Has anyone had problems with porting out when they want to leave Mint?
I had no issues did it twice now, just have to call them to get your port out info

I did the same thing in December. Worked great for me.
How long did it take to port in from T-Mobile? Where should I get PIN for my prepaid lines? Never ever transfered lines. T-Mobile chat support was trash, didn't help at all with transferring information.

I want this for my son who does not have a phone yet. Can I setup a Google Voice number for him and port that in? If not, any other ideas?

Can I just buy phone and never port in or worry about the mint 12months plan although I paid for? Is porting mandatory?

Believe port in is only required for 12 months deal, otherwise it's just 6 months

Just want the 7 Pro but I have a 6 Pro and I don't see a lot of difference. Hopefully the 8 Pro will be a much bigger leap.

Yes, that's what I did for my kid. Just get your Google # unlocked.

I have not done porting for a while.

Do you get a new number THEN request a porting after? Or will you be asked to put in the porting information during the activation process?

Oh, so if I don't port in a number, it's 6 months of service? I ordered the bundle as ESIM and want to activate the plan just to have another non-VOIP number for sites that need phone number verification.

I don't have a number to port since I want to use my other GSMT SIM as-is without porting.

How does this compare to Oneplus 11 .

Also is this network unlocked to use with ATT?

1. Get a google voice number
2. Unlock the number
3. Set a PIN for the google voice number
4. Do the Mint Mobile setup and port the number in. Note that your Google Voice number is your account number, and the PIN is whatever you just set.

Thanks for the heads' up OP! I was waffling on doing this prior to the weekend, when it went OOS. I went for the unlimited plan, so new Pixel 7, 12 months unlimited and FedEx Overnight came out to ~$420; I was paying $300/year alone for unlimited on Cricket.

Did a similar deal at the end of last year for the Pixel 7 Pro and have had no regrets.

Just bought this deal to move my wife over to Mint to take advantage of the port in promo to get her a new phone for basically what we'd spend in 12 months for just the service for her line with T-mobile. Yes, I'm aware T-mobile is buying Mint Smilie

I wish I had ordered 7 Pro instead of 7 last year.

Any 7 pro deals?

where does it ask for port in? I see 'place order' without any port in requirements anywhere
