There's your problem. There's a significant difference between the qn85b and qn90b. Qn85b is not worth buying at any price and the qn90b is one of the best tvs out there.

Can you guys recommend a good set up for audio and 4k Blu ray player (I have a 4k player, but doesn't do HDR10+).
I have very low ceiling (about 8 feet) and a 12 feet by 9 enclosed dedicated room for watching TV. I could have put in a bigger room, but 10 feet viewing distance to me was perfect, and I even considered moving my chairs closer to the TV, and I prefer smaller rooms.
I'm thinking since the room is enclosed and small I likely don't need anything too powerful.
I'm just completely in the dark of the tech of today, and wouldn't want to miss on the capability the TV has to offer.
I prefer hard copy media over streaming.
I got the 85" one.
Also if anyone has any calibration for a dark room I would love to give it a try, if you don't mind sharing.

Damn thing is super heavy and I got the 75". Even the delivery guys were saying how heavy it is.

Looks great but is super bright. Had to turn it down to 10 and still was stressing our eyes. Tomorrow I how to dig into the advance settings. I did figure out how to turn off the soap opera effect.

My favorite feature so far is a throwback to the 90s: Picture in Picture. Wow how great is this for sports and entertainment.

The stand is super heavy. The tv itself is like 100lbs (85").

Question, i used a 4k firestick max hooked up to my yamaha receiver. Any reason i should go with the built on Samsung player over the firestick?

On a downside with the 85" i amplifies the poorer quality feeds. I mean 1080p seems pretty weak on a screen that large. Watching something in 4k looks great though.

I plan to try that youtube calibration video tomorrow.

Im using Xfinity box via hdmi and it looked bad, but the i turned the sharpness down to 3 and made sure to select "input signal Plus" in the settings. It looks much better now!

I got my 85inch delivered yesterday. Some guy in a frickin mini van who looked like a door dash driver had the thing jammed in there on its side. What a sh*tshow Samsung has for their freight delivery. No damage and tv actually looks great for now, hopefully no internal issues from the tv being improperly shipped. It was just one guy and he looks at me and goes "sure as hell goes better if you help me" i said, "ill help you sir, but im just amazed at how this was shipped to me" they don't care obviously.

I have to return mine, defective panel developed colored lines and interlacing across the tv overnight . I have to say it's the worst return process ever… have to order again at the new price $2,340 then wait for the new shipment to get a price match back to the old $1,700 price. In the meantime I have to repackage the 85 inch tv back myself that Samsung's vendors hung up on the wall back into the box and wait for FedEx to pick it up and then receive the refund from the original. They can't give me any further discount or 2 years Samsung care on the reorder as it will invalidate the price match. So I'm going to be temporarily out of pocket. Not including all the time wasted with tech support e commerce , sales . This was a sign I have to stick with LG and wait for a deal on the 77 G2 or save money for the G3….

YUP! i had the same issue with Samsung. I got the 75 qn90b a couple months ago and after a few days there developed a big black spot on the tv and had to return it. they have the WORST return policy ive ever seen, and i was dumb enough to try again with the 85 inch...fingers crossed i dont have to return it.

My biggest recommendation is to take pictures of everything, take pictures of the tv as you package it up AND try and call FedEx to confirm they know they need a truck with a lift gate. document EVERYTHING! that's what i did and eventually i got my refund from Samsung, but it was a nightmare.
