I'm confused about your stance. Are you supporting the CA49 deal or are u saying it's not worth the savings? And have you tried other non-Yamaha brands (at least CA49) to put a judgement on them as compared to the Clavinova?

I've been thinking about getting CA49 for the last couple of weeks and with the newer model of CA49 coming out in the States soon (I believe CN401?), CA49 may drop in price even more, but I thought $1,599 price (plus tax, but free shipping) was good, so I placed the order yesterday. Excited to receive it soon!

Hi all. I've got mine and set it up. Can anyone comment on the left (soft) pedal? I really couldn't tell if it does anything.

The right/sustain and center/sostenutu pedals are working well. Overall, it's a very nice piece of equipment.
