Not worth it. I bought this a while back on clearance and didn't cut too well. Went back and they had the 40v on clearance. Much better.

Bought one today, cheap enough and for $5 got the extended warranty. Charged it up and used it. We have a WalMart + subscription and they even delivered it same day. Worked perfectly well enough to catch the entire yard and edge everything. My expectations were in line with what I ordered at $50, and it did just what it needed to. Not trying to trim acreage with this thing!

I want one that's /less/ powerful than the 40v so I don't throw as many rocks or worry about damaging fences. But auto-feed string is an automatic no-go. Either it'll hugely waste the cord or not work properly at all. There are no "good" autofeeders, alas.

Better to get the version of this that has the swivel head so it's easy to edge with.

My kids busted mine playing "javelin" with it in the backyard. I came outside yelling at them, "Quit playing games with my Hart!"

I have this and use it around the sidewalk and driveway, fence, and flower beds.

More than capable for general homeowner lawn use.

Could see it being an issue if you were trying to clear brush in a field or something. 9 times out of 10 this will work for most homes.

I've got so many tools that use the 20v battery I bought to get another battery and was pleasantly surprised.

I have 2 B&D 20v weed trimmers, with the swivel head. It is nice to have, but the string doesn't seem to feed correctly, when using as an edger. I have to constantly stop & pull the line out manually. I have a second one with the button feed. It works better, but still gives problems feeding, when using as edger.

If you don't get it, it's because you want to stay Hartless
