I bought one and installed it myself but it doesn't beep, you just hear the door locks. If you want to install it yourself you have to look up wiring diagrams from alldata, which you can probably access at your local library for free.

I was checking this one on a whim. I kicked myself the last time it went on sale because no one will install this for less than like $699. Glad I finally got it. Managed to get an end of April appointment, but they went as far as May 21th in the Phoenix area.

I bought one and installed it myself but it doesn't beep, you just hear the door locks. If you want to install it yourself you have to look up wiring diagrams from alldata, which you can probably access at your local library for free.

TY for the heads up. I have a 2016 Chevy Tahoe that was a police unit and the stock FOB does not make the car beep when i lock it. I wanted to get a remote start for it but the wife really wants the "beep" when she presses lock 🤣
