Last year this had gone as low as 200$ and the one with drone module had went to 285$.

Yup cancelled my order at 200. They haven't went on sale again since then up until today.

Typically the sale would be this one for 250 and the one with gps capabilities for 300.

When did this go on sale for $200? Roughly what time of year?

I paid $239 six years ago for my 2.013 4Runner, it's been great. Want to get one for our Rav4 now and my sister's Audi Q5.

Heck, I'd jump on $239 again, just don't want to miss out entirely

For some folks, that $50 or even $100 is worth the delayed installation.

Just in case you don't get an answer here-- if you can reach your local BB installer, they should be able to answer this. They can accomplish a lot of things with relays and limit switches. Plus a few OEM remotes have roll-down feature so they could maybe leverage that.

Was looking at getting this for a Christmas gift. Is it worthwhile to get if I don't schedule the installation with best buy and use a 3rd party? Or should I try and schedule around Xmas? Not sure I'll be able to get the car away and have it installed without being known what it's for.
