A long time ago when I had no credit Wells was the only one to give me a credit card and it was likely because I was a customer.
But want to use a credit card to pay off a delinquent utility bill to rebuild my credit.
Would this card be good? Or too hard to get?
Or any suggestions from anyone?

The APR is 18% on a 2k+ balance and she can't seem to pay off that balance since the 18% is making it pretty hard. She has 710 credit score so she'd qualify for this. I told her to just get the card, do a balance transfer which will charge an upfront 3% that's that. It's 0% APR for 15 months.
So this will result in a $60 or so fee up front but she'll have 15 months not having to worry about the accrued interest that is keeping her from paying it off. So instead of lose 18% every month on everything she couldn't pay off, she now has one thing to worry about is to pay it off monthly and use that 18% that she'd pay otherwise to interest into paying even more of the card off. I did warn her that she may be in a worse position if she fails to pay off the account balance and do not make use of the 0% APR for the following 15 months.
Ye, got approved a few min later after I applied. Haven't used WF before ever. My credit is high.
got my card within a week. Got my rewards bonus within 3 weeks. no major hit to my credit score (if any)
This is a free $200 if you just pay it off on time. I have other credit cards that offer better rewards so the only reason to even sign up for this card is for the free $200. Otherwise, yes, there are better credit cards if you spend money often... Common sense. not every credit card will fit your needs which is why banks offer many different varieties.

Exactly.. pay them off in full statement wise.. if something happens cool you can lean on it for an emergency.. but the main focus is to not carry balances.. if you have a 0% interest rate for x amount of months make sure to pay it all off before the final date.. it's really not hard. I have gotten 16 cards now all active all in good standing and man they are really helpful unlocking doors.. just have to have self discipline
