Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

Isn't there a conformation that you will get the $200 cash reward bonus after receiving the card?
I just got my card in the mail, but nothing inside of the 1/2" thick envelope said anything about the bonus.

Go to the website or download the app it should tell you how much you have to spend by a certain date.
Approved immediately. Had to go to bank to prove my identity. They said it would take 3 days to use the Digital Wallet but it never worked, so had to wait for card to be delivered a week later. Mind you, before even applying I had called them to confirm that a digital wallet would be available immediately after approval (like Capital One cards). Wrong.
When I finally got the card I confirmed and activated it then went to the Apple store to make a purchase. Was declined 6x. Called support, one guy hung up on me, other guy said it was okay. Still didn't work.
Then the card worked a few hours later for an online purchase.
It's a low quality bank and experience overall even though the bonus is better than average. I'm just glad I'll never have to deal with WF again after I churn this bonus.
Similar experience. Every few days, they will "suspend" the card from being able to have active purchases unless you call their fraud department. I simply stop using this card.
Rejected with 820 credit score and zero credit card balance across all my credit card??
Pretty much the same, over 800 score, no balance, perfect payment history since i pay off every month. Rejected. Kinda wild. Looking forward to the letter than explains the rejection though.

I've had a CC from Comenity Bank for years and pay-off my balance every month. Recently they notified me by form letter that my interest rate was going to increase because of my credit score. Wondering what was going on I got a new report and my score is above 800. Ticked at Comenity, I applied for this card and was approved. I'm ditching the Comenity out of spite.

I think banks are sending out these letters before the interest rates drops more. Got a few of these letters from different banks for my cards also but don't really care since I never carry a balance & use these cards for rewards only. CNBC had a report on this. They concluded basically a way for banks to jack up their profits.
Wells Fargo restricts card payment from bank account outside WF once a month. So if for some reasons, you pay your card more than one time a month, you have to open an account with WF to pay multiple times. This is a weird restriction.
