While the price is good the product is garbage. I purchased 5 of these a little more than a year ago and 3 have already failed.

Ah my old friend…. Actually I have these. They work. But they're not fast. But I only use them rarely. Once every couple months. If your running heavy data transfers on this daily don't expect good value or performance.

Bought the 5 pack 32GB before to give to relatives for pictures and videos. Good thing I have backup those videos/pictures. They didn't even last for a month. 🙅🙅🙅🙅DO NOT USE these USB drivers.

I can't discuss anything about the quality of this product, but I will never waste money on a thumb drive with cap. They always get lost/cracked/stop clicking onto the stick, so I will never buy a unit unless it is either solid stick or retractable, with the preference being solid stick.
What if I told you that by losing the cap to this product, you actually end up with your preferred type of USB stick?

I just tossed mine in the garbage. Nothing but read errors and slow transfers.

I agree with others. These flash drives are the slowest I've probably ever used. I used a bunch of 16GB and 32GB for work... and absolutely brutally slow transfer rate.

I don't think you own any of these C175 drives from TeamGroup, At the least the one I own thta it is much faster than any other brand USB 3 drivers (Samsung, Kingston, etc.)

Mechanical hard drives get 180MB/s and soon they will have close to 400MB/s with nand built in. Now if you are getting slower than 150MB/s id be very concerned . Look towards Samsung and read the Amazon reviews for Crystal disk mark. Even SanDisk is good when on sale

Got 2 of the 256 versions of these. No issues with data loss. Constantly playing videos with them off my Roku Ultra. Just lags transferring data- I just do something else until it is done. Don't need ant RN with all the 1 TB SSDs I upgraded. LOL.

(I've not been here in ages, but...)

Drive is no good, simply put.
It fails, mechanically. It fails electronically.

First one, I had issues with, & then it simply pulled apart. Seemingly held together with a minute amount of glue.
I thought it was a fluke. No, it's junk.

Second one, I had issues with - data corruption. Depending on which way the wind was blowing. Junk.

You can format it, you can run checks on it, you can do what you want with it, does not matter.
Everything may check out, you might copy 100 GB to it & have it all check out, & then, a moment later, 1 moment later, your data is corrupted. Junk.

Bought a Kingston DataTraveler Exodia 128GB instead of this Team, & it just does what you want. It works.

The reviews show they're really slow. Why do they bother to advertise USB 3.2 Gen 1 if they barely get 100MB/s on read and 40MB/s on write?

My experience with their product is okay as long as you know what you're getting it for. I bought their 64gb flash drive and it was cheap but very slow, but I already anticipated that from the reviews, that's why I bought it to store music and video files for my children's in car entertainment.
