I can't discuss anything about the quality of this product, but I will never waste money on a thumb drive with cap. They always get lost/cracked/stop clicking onto the stick, so I will never buy a unit unless it is either solid stick or retractable, with the preference being solid stick.

While I have yet to have trouble in my short time with this specific model, I have lost data on a lower end Team Group drive. Those were also unbearably slow, among the worst I've ever used. These have tolerable speeds but I definitely wouldn't trust them with anything important.

You do realize you don't HAVE to use the cap. You could just leave it off. By the way, I'm the opposite. I prefer drives that have a cap.

Purchased these C175s 4 months ago, and written about 1.5tb to each; performance flawless so far. With a "lifetime" warranty (lifetime of the company ofc, not the product), it's an easy yes

You can also get the 3 pack of 64gb for the same price
Or 5 pack of 32gb for 16 bucks
I would personally use this for transient stuffs, flashing OS, accessing Uefi etc. to have something accessible. Not for anything that i can't afford to lose

Ah my old friendโฆ. Actually I have these. They work. But they're not fast. But I only use them rarely. Once every couple months. If your running heavy data transfers on this daily don't expect good value or performance.

Bought the 5 pack 32GB before to give to relatives for pictures and videos. Good thing I have backup those videos/pictures. They didn't even last for a month. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ DO NOT USE these USB drivers.
