I always check to see if the CrossClimate2s are in stock for any of my cars, and they never are. It's been 2 years of checking without intention of buying and it is always OOS.

I ended up going to Discount Tire since they had everything in stock.

I've heard Costco's tire center is a nightmare to deal with, especially when it comes time to make an appointment and the turn around time.

Have you actually called your local Costco tire center? They are usually able to order most whatever you need even if it's not on the website.

For many, Costco tire centers are too busy and the tire selections are too limited. I thought I did a smart thing by switching... But, for that, I got yelled at for switching from "gold standard" Costco Micheline to "inferior" Continental at Walmart for not caring about family safety...
This is why I'll never buy from Costco

Discover card cash back bonus this quarter is for purchases made at warehouses stores, but since Costco doesn't take Discover it doesn't apply.
Local warehouses accept Visa only, but when ordering online, you can use Discover.

Has anyone had luck getting a price match at Discount Tire?
Costco is just too far from where I live.
Same. Wondering if Discount Tire will include their warranty in the match since the Costco deal includes it.

Meh. The Michelin Defender LTX is "Out Of Stock" in all of Costco in Texas that I have checked. Since Costco is closed today, I cannot walk in to order. and since its OOS online, it doesn't show the final price and cannot price match with Discount Tire either.
There is defender 2 now

This beats the discount tire eBay deal from a short while back by $5. The discover 5% is icing on an already slick deal. Nice

Quality tires are so $$$ if you have large wheel sizes. I don't think I've seen Costco do an additional off if over X dollars before.

Discount/America's Tire will price match. Just screenshot or print out the final cart price. I had them price match the $150 discount in Feb. on some Michelins. Costco's generally have good overall service, but their tire centers rate much worse. AT/DT are consistently higher rated by users.

Didn't have the 5% Disco that month so that might factor in my decision depending on overall cost.

Was waiting until Wednesday but happy to get started now. Tried cheapo tires from Walmart but my appointment got canceled twice and was told corporate shut them down. Never had a problem getting in and out of my Costco tire center.

For those of us not spending $900 or more, What am I missing here? Isn't this the same deal that comes around every few months? $150 off total?

Run flat tires are OOS on Costco. Are run flat tires really needed? What'd be the alternative? Should I let the deal go or let the run flat requirement go?

The current "standard" deal (runs several times/year) going through June is $150 off for Michelins and $110 for BFG. This deal is a one day sale for an additional $50 off Michelins. I don't follow it that close, but don't think the extra $ off happens that often.
