Just returned one at this price after grabing 2 for $20 at direct tools outlet. Might be worth waiting on a sale.

Nice light, I use it more than any other flashlight around the house and the battery lasts forever.

Thanks I'll keep an eye out for that price from dto. Currently they are $15. Get 2 for extra light on camping trips, yard and house projects.

I don't know why these are called torch. They are good basic flashlights if you are in the Ridgid system, very practical standing up with the rotating head, I have two of them; but they're hardly like the Ridgid's 4LED & 7 LED cannons that's are bigger, heavier and especially the top of the line one is ridiculously bright.

And with a series of 2 & 4 batteries, very easy to get through an extended power outage, because they don't draw much power. I just point them at the ceiling and they light up a room adequately.

I know they changed these since the Gen5X version, but unless they changed the angle of light, mine is too much like a spotlight and doesn't cast a wide enough beam. Mine came in a kit so I use it, but I wouldn't buy another.

Wish I could get a Milwaukee light at this price

This was well worth $20 and I really like using it. It's super lightweight and hardly uses battery. Rotating the head to hit the ceiling is great for diffused light in unlit spaces or during power outages, the focused beam prevents light scatter from blinding you. I use it all the time!
HF Braun lights are much more versatile for $24 when on sale. I think they have 340lumen and 400 lumen now for the same price

If the light is too focused and you want more diffusion, I use some Glad Press and Seal on the lens.

But they aren't reliable. None of the 3 Braun's that my brother and I bought lasted much longer than the 90 day warranty.

Mine had a short, so it would turn off if bumped. The power button broke in one my brother's and his other one wouldn't charge the battery.

I like the form factor, but need something more reliable than Harbor Freight.

Definitely didn't need it, definitely bought it

Have the light cannon which is great but a battery hog, hopefully this fits the space between that and the darkness

I bought this for the same price at HD 6 months ago. A month ago,I used it 4 hours continuously and led got burned. It is very dim now. I got in touch with LSA people and they are sending me a replacement one.
