This was $799 for the 512GB when it launched through Google Fi (factory unlocked, no bill credits), so it's hard (actually impossible) to get excited about 256GB at $1399.

It required 4 months of new customer service for the lowest model and I can't find a time machine. If you know a better deal now please share a link!
Nah, used on ebay. The point I was trying to make is these follow the same depreciation curve most phones do. Getting half off MSRP really isn't a bargain for a phone that is halfway through its sales cycle.
That deal was for the 256gb, not the 512. You also had to be a new Google Fi user and initiate service with them... Are you on Google Fi?
It was 512GB if you pre-ordered. And no, I never bought one because I'm more of an iPhone guy. Also, the value of these things has dropped like a ROCK. I wouldn't personally pay more than $900 if you want to be able to salvage any sort of value on the resale market now or in the future...

Iphone guy, Googe Fi didn't have pre order for 512gb for $800. Still can't find that time machine.

Google how much Samsung's OS uses up
My Fold 4 has 1 TB.
I would get no less than 512 GB, especially if you record videos.
