I have one of these, had to RMA the first one through TP-Link as it died 2 days after the Newegg return window ended. They were good but I still had to pay for shipping it back to them, which made the deal I got on it back then sort of negate itself.

Regardless, the replacement unit has been solid.

The only thing that makes no sense with this unit is the AC Adaptor outlet is on the REAR of the unit and the Ethernet jacks are on the FRONT. So you will not be able to have this flush against anything.

I guess the idea with this one is you'll treat it more like a professional switch and want to plug all your devices in facing you (the activity LEDS are only on the network jacks) and power it away from you.

But just heads up on that if you'd rather have a unit where everything is plugged in to the back and you just have activity LEDs in the front
when something with an adapter stops working always check the adapter as there is a very good chance its just the adapter that went out.
You could always check for yourself. Because someone posts a deal does not mean they are expert at all things.

Amazing how the prices have gone up on these, but I guess this is a deal now.

Had one for about 2 years, still working strong. Used to be around 16 dollars only. Guess inflation

This is the price I paid back in 2021 when it was a deal. Both of mine are still working flawlessly. One is used for 12-15 hours a day, the other 24/7. Not even a hiccup out of either one. Awesome units.

Some that are mentioning the price may be confusing this with the inexpensive unmanaged switches. I have had the "E" variant for 3 years, maybe more, and I got it on sale for $25, so this is a pretty good price.

I have been looking so far they are either low power or high cost. My question was to anyone who has seen any deal lately.

Bought two of these for a buck more last summer. Both have been on 24/7 working flawlessly.

I bought this over a year ago for a buck less than this and has been working flawlessly since then. Definitely recommend them and they are at gigabit speeds.

I just got one of this. Plain and simple, you go and connect your devices right away and works plug/play.

Also, be mindful this switch has up to 16gb connection per total port. It holds up 2gb each ports.

Not that we need it but kinda future proof for now. I have 1gb connection and tested both devices yesterday each gave me 800-900-700 download speeds in different times.
