Nice deal! Don't bother with the 5 port even though it too is on sale - it's only $3 more for the 8 port. Any switch is going to have 3 ports occupied right out of the box - otherwise you wouldn't need a switch :-) The 5 port only allows for 2 more devices while the 8 port allows for 5 more devices - it's a dollar more per port for the extra 3 ports. IMO even if you think you'll never need an 8 port, it's a much better deal to potentially avoid having to buy a higher capacity switch later.
