They will never offer any bonus.
There have been bonuses from time to time.

Not big bonuses, but they offer small bonuses occasionally.

When I signed up a few years ago, I remember getting a $50 Walgreens bonus.

How do you take out money from savings account if you need emergency cash? Bank transfer? If yes, that will take days to clear unless there is some other ways to get out the money fast.

What's the credit freeze hack? My credit is frozen. I have never received email from Apple to open a credit card, can I apply now without unfreezing it first?

For money market funds, you do have to pay local interests. Only for T-bill, you can avoid them.
I did overstate the tax advantage, but VMFXX is about 38% U.S. government obligations, so there is substantial savings at the state level. I thought local would generally exempt U.S. govt obligations as well, but I am not familiar with any local tax situations.

The credit bureau freeze hack apparently still works. Which is funny since every reputable bank wouldn't allow you to open a card without running a hard credit check. Goldman is just using what they learned during the subprime mortgages era and applying it to credit cards. Kinda ridiculous.
There is no hack involved. GS is doing a "pre-approval" soft pull and then do a hard pull if you accept the pre-approval.

There is no super fast way to transfer via ACH afaik. Yes, it might take a few days when going from bank to bank.

Maybe keep a small amount of immediate emergency cash in a local bank branch?

I don't know what sort of emergency somebody might have where they would need a huge amount of cash immediately, but even if I were to get hit by a bus later today when crossing the street and I end up in the ER on life support, I wouldn't have any immediate need for cash.

This is not a slick deal at all; it's on ok deal. There is no indication rate is fixed.

You can get a range of brokered CD ranging from 1 month to 60 months they are currently paying around 4.4-5% at least you know the rate is fixed for that duration.
Of course the rate is not fixed. It's going to move and change, whenever the FED changes rates, which is pretty often these days.

And a CD, where you have to lock up your money for a certain time period is not the same thing at all as a savings account.

If you have a joint Apple Card account it doesn't seem like you can setup a Saving account yet. Wonder if that is coming?

Here is VMFXX composition:
what percentage is taxable, what percentage is tax-exempt?

How is it compared to a Fidelity money market fund: F**XX?
Which one is better, in terms of tax-exempt ratio?
