If the surface go is $500 at bestbuy, while $599 at Costco, it tells me that I am really only effectively getting $100 for my trade-in.

Assuming it powers on (and you provide your power cable) it's within the 5 years.

It was a Deal Of The Day last week for $499 for the 128GB. The 256GB (this deal) was $599 that day. Surface products hold their prices pretty tight.

I did this deal with lenovo laptop and 300 credit. Bought a lenovo open box windows laptop for 90 in best buy that was released in the correct year right before cut off date. Had to email support few times to get the ball rolling because it kept saying you need to send it in when it was already delivered. Then email finally came with the card. Pretty easy process. Tempted but I have SURFACE GO 2 now and I think Microsoft will finally do 16gb ram on these GO 3 devices soon so I will skip on this and wait until next year or whenever they do and have a similar deal.

Seriously Costco, I can understand if ThinkPad is not qualified, but MS Surface Laptop3?
