Nice deal, Pity I still have the Ink Business Preferred active and just applied for Freedom Unlimited... A word of caution with their UR Travel service. I had very negative experience with them lately.
On one occasion, I planned my conference and booked the hotel with UR Travel instead of using the conference link. The price was similar, so I decided to earn a few points... That was bad choice because:
They charged the full amount immediately instead of placing a hold.
When I wanted to shorten my stay, it took me almost 2 hour on the phone to change it. And even then, their portal still shows the old travel dates and it took them 2 weeks to refund the difference, so that I had to pay the balance first.
On the other occasion, I tried to book a cruise with them - even worse headache. They do have some cruises online but not all of them. And definitely they don't have any of the optional packages the cruise lines now have to sweeten the deal. My cruise was not available on the portal so I ended up spending 2-3 hours on the phone with very ignorant UR rewards employee who wanted nothing more than to end the call.
And most importantly... The Ultimate Rewards Travel has been outsorurced abroad, to multiple call centers in at least 2 multiple locations (I heard 2 different type of accents, both equally bad). The UR Travel call center used to be 100% English speaking, very knowledgeable, very nice and attentive representatives. Not anymore. Upon your call you are getting to the badly accented employee who is clueless as to what you are asking such that you have to repeat yourself 2-3 times. Mid you, English is my second language too, so I don't mind repeating, knowing that my accent is also bad. But I also know that it is not that bad so I have to repeat myself so much so it gets tiring. There is also bad lag between you talking and call center responding. This is confirmed on every occasion I had to interact with them. The only way to solve this is to immediately request the US Representative. At least for now this works, but who knows for how long.
Thanks for the heads up. Refer my wife to sign up. That's 15k for referral and 80,000 once the spending requirements are met.
That's what OP said. 80k + 10k in branch.

Are we allowed to post referral links in this thread?
I don't think it's allowed, otherwise I would have included one in the pro post, as it's the only way to get the deal. Although I would have loved to give a link too.
those who applied in branch, do you have to give out your private info and job detail to the banker and the banker applies for you or you get to use their computer and you get to enter your detail and you get to apply yourself on their computer?
I just signed up for this card this past Saturday off a referral, but was only for 60k points.
Does anyone think Chase will honor the new 80k point bonus offer?

Send them a secure message- they often (but not always) match higher offers
Whew, this saves me a trip to a Chase branch that I'd been putting off for the last week. With referring myself from my wife's card, that 95k points total, so even better. Thanks OP!

Anybody have any advice for juggling personal and business cards from Chase?
I have a Chase business card, and signed up for a second, personal card a while back. The whole thing was a total mess. I couldn't see my personal account details after logging in, so I reached out to customer service. After three phone calls over several days I was finally told I would need two completely separate logins (which I thought was dumb since I was offered and approved for the card while logged into my business account). This also meant the app was a pain because logging out removed biometric authentication. It was such a disaster that I just ended up cancelling the personal card.
Is it just not possible to manage personal and business cards from the same place?
I have business and personal and can see everything in one place. Yes you get two logins, but you should be able to merge your personal cards onto your business account. Then whenever you use your business account login everything is there. They separate it via tabs on the app and website.
You can combine them if you want. Many prefer not combing them. Just call business customer service if you want the option.
I did this. At first they told me they could combine them, but after several hours of phone calls they flipped and I was told that it wasn't possible. Maybe it was just something with my account.

Maybe I just had bad service reps. After several of hours of phone calls with several different reps, I was told that I couldn't view both at once.
Chase has this card "soft closed" on my account, has anyone experienced that? It has a credit limit of 500, and states it's closed, but still shows up in my app and still is producing monthly statements. I called them and they claim it's closed but I don't believe them, I feel they did it to keep me from opening it again. I feel like seeing if they would activate it again just so I could try to cancel it again.

They told me that the default is two have them separately, they highly recommended keeping them separate for a lot of reasons. Personal vs. business and also if you actually had a business that would someday authorize people to use your business card you would NOT want those people to have access to your personal accounts. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal for me, I just wanted to get the CB and then throw the card in my safe.

No, they didn't ask for job details.
