That's fine for what it is now but it will limit future upgrades
With that in mind... There are 4 DIMM slots, here is the manual [lenovo.com] along with the Product Page. [lenovo.com]
Seems like a decent deal.

I will agree with you that it was nice to have Brick and Mortar stores in general because as you say, you can't replicate the feeling of being in the store by shopping on Amazon, but that is more of a sign of the modern era than anything else and is happening across industries (I feel bad for kids nowadays that they don't have Toy's R' Us or Kaybee Toys to walk into wide eyed). So yeah, aside from the free after rebate blank DVD's and free paper shredders I can't say I really miss Frys.
Frys. ToysRUs, Sears all kind of local stores are gone.
Honestly tho, 3050 is a sh!t card and basically anything is a step up from that. (Except the 6500xt which is straight trash)

As the customer base went down market so did the staff. It wasn't just one or the other.

Seeing all of the mobos on display, combos, and the most esoteric electronics components (crossover cables, mobo standoffs, or even controller chips for fixing up your emulator boards)...no other feeling like it. Id literally go to the store as part of my vacations when I went to visit friends.
I agree with the other poster, that the staff became less technically savvy as the population shopping there changed; kinda correlates with when they started stocking anime DVDs (late aughts, early 2010s?). It is quite funny as this was around the same time when other stores started keeling over (CircuitCity, CompUSA).
As I type this while watching my 3yo play with grandpa, I feel a sudden need to pour one out for all of the experiences that I, and my parents, had, which my kids wont have because of the decline of retail. The closest thing to a Toys R Us is some sad combo of Five Below and the kids section of my local Ikea
That all being said, THANK GOD that Microcenter has not only survived, but flourished in the past few years. It is almost an anachronism how knowledable the staff are at my local one. Maybe it is a sign of my age and how little I have kept up? It is even more of a paradox as to how they cheap they are (relatively) versus online outfits. I would have gotten the Ryzen combo deal in the other thread if I actually had the need...or the TIME, to build a rig. If I were 5 years younger, I probably wouldve gotten this rig for my mom, but even she has moved to IPad-ism.
If any of you have time, I recommend looking up some videos from the psychologist Jonathan Haidt, specifically ones where he talks about the changeover with kids born after 1995. The correlations with the end of the millennials and start of gen Z explains quite a bit about retail (unintentionally).
I agree it is kind of dumb not having a standard HDMI out on motherboards that support processors with onboard graphic chipsets.
