I couldn't find the charging cable type listed on the endless marketing specs for the product page but a quick Google search shows that these have both wireless AND Type C cable charging capabilities. NO MICRO USB for those ready to write these off.
For $30, I think this is a solid deal but they won't be the best wireless earbuds available by a long shot. Reviews seem to point out a lack of low-end (bass) so if you prefer a lot of bass to your music, you might need to look elsewhere.

Pretty good deal for $30, but been out for a little over a year and man has that price plummeted! Started at $200+. Don't be surprised if they fall apart or you have random connection issues. Sounds like they use cheap glue. One of my buds fell apart as I pulled it out of my ear. Still works, used some gorilla glue and sand paper to mostly smooth it out. Battery life is awful now though too.
I got these on last deal, and man they are a steal at this price. Lots of features vs anker cheapies like pausing phone video when you take them out for a second. Gonna get an extra set...

I'm not arguing against your position since I haven't owned these earbuds but the one example you gave is pretty weak. There are tons of cheap earbuds that have most, if not all, of the same features that these LG buds do, including the media pause if you take them out of your ears. I would guess that LG may have some of these features a little more polished? Can't just say they don't exist on cheap buds. I have a pair of Boltune buds that do pretty much everything these LG do and they were maybe $20 on sale
"There is one major problem with the microphone system, though: it fails to reduce background noise. When on the phone with my mother, she noted that my placing of scissors in a wooden drawer sounded as loud as my voice. Keep this in mind if you're a multitasker when you take calls."

This is what I was talking about.
