I suspect that some of these that are discontinued such as the V1 10,12 and 15 are new units and just left over stock
30 day returns and 5 year warranty
You have to pay shipping costs on returns for non defective merchandise
They will not exchange an open box product with a " new" one should you have performance or shipping damage issues at delivery. You will have to return and rebuy a "new" one. They will exchange if they have another open box unit in stock
For those that have concerns about amp failures. They will ship out an new amp for warranty purposes. That has been confirmed many times on AVS forum and a couple of times for buyers here on slick deals as well
Their sales manager regularly participates in conversations on AVS forum
I have three Monolith subs in my main theater listening area and I have been consistently impressed with their performance over the 2-3 years I have owned them
If you can accommodate it..the 15" V1, at this price is amazing.
The 12" and up are very heavy and large
Do yourself a favor and measure your space and be prepared to have help if you need to accommodate stairs
Fed Ex dropped one of mine off at the garage door and didnt even try to bring it up my front steps

Also you aren't getting amps shipped to you if you have a failure, they are backordered into June. Better to be fully educated before taking the plunge.
I've had flawless performance from 3 Monolith subs and a 7 channel amp, HTP-1 next and hopefully Dirac ART soon.
I did see some availability last week
I own 3 monolith subs as well as the 7X channel amp. They all perform flawlessly
The HTP-1 was on my short list but I could not wait and bought the Arcam prepro

You say people are not receiving amps?
I beg to differ with that
There are a few here that just obtained the M8125X that was in a thread here
I am always amazed at all the hearsay involved with these Monoprice/Monolith products

I am new to HT. Please pardon if my question is naive.
It has four sub outputs, so presumably Audyssey can balance them appropriately.
Would a 15" ported mesh well, or should I try to stick with SVS?
Thanks!
Edit: According to Denon, if you can run a different output to each subwoofer Audyssey/Dirac should take care of tuning them fine, eliminating traditional downsides like phase alignment issues and timbre mismatch.

HTP-1 had similar issues and it was pulled off from the website.

I hope they come back quickly with quality control because they are the best when it comes to price to performance.
Not anymore when it comes a 12 inch.
RSL has the market cornered with its 12S @ $799.
Nothing comes close.

I have 2 x Rythmik FV18 in 15' x 18' room. Get dual subs which ever you get and the largest you can afford.
