Oooh - now, that is sneaky. With this, you can get ram for $100 and have a kit out the door for $500 (which is only $50 more than MicroCenter's deal).....VERY tempting....Good find!

UPDATE: It seems to work on other 7700x combos as well.....interesting. The livemixer board is the cheapest though.

For $20 more you can get the B650E PG Riptide combo (which offers PCIe 5.0) [newegg.com] The other difference is WiFi with this board (if you care about that).

Indeed. I actually bought one (but with a 7600 processor to save $75 and put that toward a better GPU). I doubt what I do will be CPU throttled for a long time. Of course, we'll undoubtedly see price massive, near term price reductions since I pulled the trigger. You are welcome world LMAO

Nor I. Though, to be fair, my last PC build experience was 6 or 7 years ago.

I suspect, like Amazon, if you buy from "sold by/ships from" Newegg, you will be okay. Their return policy seems pretty solid: return for any reason, no return fee (they send you a label)...at least according to their website.

I've bought numerous things from them in the past, but they have a reputation with occasionally being difficult on returns. Also, they are Chinese owned company!

I have used Newegg for probably 10+ years for multiple builds. About a year ago I purchased a motherboard but ended up not doing the build, so I sent it back unopened. I didn't even open the cardboard shipping box. Newegg rejected my return saying damaged socket. I didn't even open the package. I was so angry. I haven't used them since.

As Decadance said, be VERY aware of "too good to be true" deals on Amazon, Newegg, etc. When a seller lists their ships from/sold buy as "Amozoncom-us" or similar, you can assured it is a scam. Why there isn't a "report this seller" button is another topic, but I am seeing that MUCH more frequently now. Always look at the number of reviews and the sellers rating. If unsure, dig a little deeper for "most recent" reviews. Sometimes they have 5-star for the first 20 and then 1-star for all of the 'real' reviews.
