Spectrum internet is required to purchase mobile, what the fish
I'm Hanzelnuts, I was mentioned in the Wiki. You guys are lucky because Spectrum is excepting a lot of older phones as trade in for this promotion. A Note 4 is now worth $35 + $600. That's crazy.

I did this promotion 2 months ago. Traded in my Note 9 for $27 and Iphone 8 plus for $12. Note 9 was the oldest they will take back then and so was the iPhone 8. I had a Note 4 that didn't qualify. I had to buy the IPhone 8 for $90 to do the trade in.

I went in the store and paid in full for S23 Ultra and S23. Contrary to FatGuyPoolShark, I like many people, had to send in our trade-in to Assurant. You'll be lucky if the store accept your trade in. It has to be sent in.

Anyways, I have Spectrum internet. There was a promotion of buy one unlimited line for $29.99 and you'll get one line free. For those that didn't get this promotion in their email, ASK THE REP at the store if you can get that promo. Chances are, they'll say yes.

I was able to unlock my 2 phones within one week. I called and asked if they could unlock them and the agent unlocked them while I was on the phone with her. You might want to say you're traveling and needed them unlock.

Assurance emailed me and says my phones were accepted as trade-ins. But instead of $27 for my Note 9, they only going to pay me $15 reason being it was late. It wasn't late, as they received it within the 30 days required to mail in.

I have a credit of $1227 with Spectrum right now. I'm too busy to call and ask them to credit them back to my credit card. It shouldn't be a problem though.

Feel free to ask any questions if need to.
Yeah that should be the first line of the post. Want my 15 minutes back.

So I did this deal a month ago with my s10s before they started taking these really really old phones (my s9 would be gone instead lol). I did one in person and one as a mail in because they only had one s23. Zero trouble with either but doing it in person I got the trade in credit immediately and in Texas at least also saved the tax as a result.

Overall zero complaints. The prioritization on data on Verizon feels even higher than it did on visible which is Verizon owned which is weird.

Probably going to add a third line for another s23 and sell it on Facebook and make a few hundred bucks lol.

Pixel 2 listed and credit given. Pixel XL 2 not so much. That doesn't make sense

I even considered signing up for spectrum internet to get in on this promo, but they aren't available in my area. Is there any way to get in on this deal if you don't live in an area that is serviced by spectrum internet? otherwise needs a YMMV in title if it's only for parts of the country..

alright.. just ordered the S23.. $800+62 tax - $635 trade-in = $227 net.
12-month service free.

Traded in my old old unused Note4 for $35+$600... glad the battery turns on and probably last a hour or two. Big Grin

What's the resell value of the S23? I am iPhone13 user.. :/
I have Spectrum Internet already.

So what would the play be if I can get internet service, get two phone lines and internet for two months, get the rebates, then cancel? So something like $550-$600 for two phones? Thoughts?

No it is bill credits and on top of that you are stuck with spectrum internet for 3 years!

Can you describe the in person process? Like did you go to a spectrum store, did they add a line, total cost, etc? We'll add this to the wiki

Yes, as long as you pay upfront instead of financing. You might not even have to wait 2 months since fatguypoolshark said they did it in person and got the credit immediately. Waiting on fatguypoolshark to expand on that process.

I have many phones I could use this for but...are ANY flagship phones shipping with a headphone jack anymore? I refuse to give up my LG until I see it. Hard to listen without Quad DAC these days.

How did you get 12 months free, can you expand on that? Like which screen did you see it, what is your internet plan, did your have to call in and ask? We'll add it to the wiki.

How was the in store process? Show up, ask for the phone and they take the trade in right there?
