I'm Hanzelnuts, I was mentioned in the Wiki. You guys are lucky because Spectrum is excepting a lot of older phones as trade in for this promotion. A Note 4 is now worth $35 + $600. That's crazy.

I did this promotion 2 months ago. Traded in my Note 9 for $27 and Iphone 8 plus for $12. Note 9 was the oldest they will take back then and so was the iPhone 8. I had a Note 4 that didn't qualify. I had to buy the IPhone 8 for $90 to do the trade in.

I went in the store and paid in full for S23 Ultra and S23. Contrary to FatGuyPoolShark, I like many people, had to send in our trade-in to Assurant. You'll be lucky if the store accept your trade in. It has to be sent in.

Anyways, I have Spectrum internet. There was a promotion of buy one unlimited line for $29.99 and you'll get one line free. For those that didn't get this promotion in their email, ASK THE REP at the store if you can get that promo. Chances are, they'll say yes.

I was able to unlock my 2 phones within one week. I called and asked if they could unlock them and the agent unlocked them while I was on the phone with her. You might want to say you're traveling and needed them unlock.

Assurance emailed me and says my phones were accepted as trade-ins. But instead of $27 for my Note 9, they only going to pay me $15 reason being it was late. It wasn't late, as they received it within the 30 days required to mail in.

I have a credit of $1227 with Spectrum right now. I'm too busy to call and ask them to credit them back to my credit card. It shouldn't be a problem though.

Feel free to ask any questions if need to.

Maybe I doing something wrong but the price is 1119.99. Haven't been familiar with the Galaxy line since my Note 3 but it only lists the Ultra. I select the 256GB model and declined the protection but it still that price. I guessing the Vanilla/Regular version of the phone is for $700? But when I click the link on Spectrum's website it brings me to the Ultra. I received a 635 off the 1119.99 but thats just wayyy too much. Just trying to price everything out. Sucks about the 12 months for free as it didn't pop up for me but they offered the free line. Any help would be great.
S23 link from the op.

Depends on your state / store. TX and KY have reported success in trading in store, while CA not.

I have many phones I could use this for but...are ANY flagship phones shipping with a headphone jack anymore? I refuse to give up my LG until I see it. Hard to listen without Quad DAC these days.
only SONY but the XPERIA 1 MARK V is very expensive

wait until the XPERIA 5 MARK V is announced to see the price

also the LG V60 just received ANDROID 13 and should still receive security updates

I did this deal when the phones first came out. In CA they charge u tax on the full device price, which makes no sense because they are essentially taxing your trade in value on a phone you already paid tax on. But not much makes sense here anymore.

I had a BOGO free phone line promotion. I traded in 2 old phones to get the S23 Ultra and S23. Basically, one trade-in per line.

A couple of questions:
I have Spectrum internet already and would order this cheap Tracfone from the OPs post from HSN.

1) It is asking for the trade in device IMEI # and HSN says the trafone wouldnt be delivered until 5/24. What should I do here? Wait 2 weeks until the phone arrives or put a fake IMEI number in there and ask them to correct it later?
2) Can I cancel the phone line after the 2 months and the $600 is credited back to my account?

1. You better make sure the IMEI is correct on your trade-in. The shipping label will have the trade-in IMEI on it. If it doesn't match, Assurant will deny your trade-in and you're SOL with $600.

2. You'll get your $600 after Assurant has accepted your trade-in device. Afterwards, call Spectrum and ask them to credit that back to your credit card. Otherwise, it will be in your Spectrum account.
