Offer Valid 02/01/2023 - 06/30/2023. Get $600 off when you trade-in and purchase a Samsung Galaxy S23 Series device, plus additional trade-in value based on the condition of your device. Restrictions apply. Spectrum Internet required. Auto-pay required. Visit spectrum.com/mobile/tradein for details.
Trade-in Criteria: As long as your trade-in is worth $1, the $600 promo will apply during the trade-in credit check.
1. Is the device free of major physical damage? No is okay. Don't push your luck here too much, don't try to trade-in 80% of a phone or something that been ran over twice by a car.
2. Does the device have a functional screen that is free of cracks and other damage? No is okay
3. Is the device free from liquid damage? Yes is mandatory
4. Does the device power on? Yes is mandatory
Trade-in IMEIs: When testing to see if your phone is accepted for trade-in, any random fingermashed IMEI can be used as long as it starts with a 3. If you want to double check, 356742465815274 is a random IMEI that works. (Not true, just had this method show my phone as rejected when it DID accept the real IMEI)
Trade-in phone: The list of accepted phones differ between carriers, so if you don't find your phone on the list, check the original or "other" carrier. Also, the link of accepted Samsung phones is huge (may be all A, S, and Note series), even some international only models are accepted.

I did this promotion 2 months ago. Traded in my Note 9 for $27 and Iphone 8 plus for $12. Note 9 was the oldest they will take back then and so was the iPhone 8. I had a Note 4 that didn't qualify. I had to buy the IPhone 8 for $90 to do the trade in.
I went in the store and paid in full for S23 Ultra and S23. Contrary to FatGuyPoolShark, I like many people, had to send in our trade-in to Assurant. You'll be lucky if the store accept your trade in. It has to be sent in.
Anyways, I have Spectrum internet. There was a promotion of buy one unlimited line for $29.99 and you'll get one line free. For those that didn't get this promotion in their email, ASK THE REP at the store if you can get that promo. Chances are, they'll say yes.
I was able to unlock my 2 phones within one week. I called and asked if they could unlock them and the agent unlocked them while I was on the phone with her. You might want to say you're traveling and needed them unlock.
Assurance emailed me and says my phones were accepted as trade-ins. But instead of $27 for my Note 9, they only going to pay me $15 reason being it was late. It wasn't late, as they received it within the 30 days required to mail in.
I have a credit of $1227 with Spectrum right now. I'm too busy to call and ask them to credit them back to my credit card. It shouldn't be a problem though.
Feel free to ask any questions if need to.

Or are you asking for someone to tradein for you?
I know it's a long shot but let's see
How did you do it?
Or are you concerned that if you do, Spectrum might blacklist your phone.
I'm in CA. Yesterday, I went into the Spectrum store, traded in a Galaxy S4 and a Note 4. Got $5 Trade-in credit for the S4 and $20 for the Note 4. Added 2 new lines (pay by the gig $14 + $10 activation) to my 2 existing lines. The store I was at accepted my 2 trade-ins on the spot (no need to mail in). Purchased two S23 and pay $144 for tax on the 2 phones. So, my total for the 2 S23 was $538. Next step, trade in these S23 for the S23+ and Ultra.
As for the cooling period, there is none. The online portal will show you are good for upgrade as soon as you get home. But again, keep it reasonable, you already paid for the first month, and this promo runs until June 30, so space out your upgrades.

So I tried a new strategy, calling for "activation help," not mentioning unlocking. Mysteriously, their system was working just fine now, only seconds after previous failures. They immediately found my account. Getting past that step, I asked for unlock and got it.
Another "weird" thing, my updated account phone number did not work when looking up my account. I had to provide the phone number originally linked to the account.

I did, and the s23 immediately said it had to reboot. After reboot, the phone and msgs worked as expected as an unlocked device.
Question: Will it matter that it's a Cricket Moto G Pure (2021) and not an "Other" carrier's Moto G Pure (2021)? Should I return it and get an AT&T Moto G Pure (2021) that Walmart's selling for $30?
