I bought one of these back in Nov 2021 sold by Amazon and it was legit, I also felt it was quite speedy compared to many of the ones I have used in the past, they work particularly well with Pioneer DJ equipment if you are into that kind of thing and for me are backups to THESE [amazon.com].

Highly recommend to get the one with both USB A & C port. It will be easier to transfer the data between laptop and desktop these days.

It's well known that there has been instances of Amazon selling fake products, because they co-mingle products with vendors. I suggest you research it yourself instead of claiming others spread FUD.
