I bought one of these back in Nov 2021 sold by Amazon and it was legit, I also felt it was quite speedy compared to many of the ones I have used in the past, they work particularly well with Pioneer DJ equipment if you are into that kind of thing and for me are backups to THESE[amazon.com].
You can Google how to figure that out. Most importantly if its fast its likely real, not much point in creating a counterfeit of a product that is normally $15ish that is as good as the original.

The question should be asked the other way round. How can you prove your accusation that this is not legit? This is being sold directly by Amazon, so please prove your point or stop spreading FUD.
It's a valid point. Amazon sells (or at least used to sell) a lot of counterfeit flash memory (USB sticks and SD cards). You should verify the capacity of your card and check that files you transfer over function properly every time you buy a deal that's too cheap from them.

It's well known that there has been instances of Amazon selling fake products, because they co-mingle products with vendors. I suggest you research it yourself instead of claiming others spread FUD.

I buy a lot from amazon. They don't have great QC. I wouldn't say Amazon only but between amazon and eBay (Walmart too) I have to check counterfeit micro cards and flash drive. Between them I have personally been burned on counterfeit. The problem the first time around I did not discover it until my card got stuck at 4gb. What some of them do is use legit small capacity drives and rewrite cosmetically the size higher. That's one example. By the time I found out it's been 4-6 month. Way past deadline.
Amazon mixing their inventory is bad practice and they do that. The problem is QC. Hence based on how they operate it's difficult to track fakes. To them not enough customers complain. If it passes the deadline .. they go Scott's free. They make enough money to validate their practice.

If you don't need the space, I usually go with the multiple smaller drives, perfect for odds and ends or testing some things out.
