Just a heads up for the niche target audience that may be interested....
Analogue Duo [analogue.co] preorders are live. Supposedly they'll ship in 2023. $250 + shipping + tax. Was $300 for me in MA.
For those of you who don't know, it's a FPGA-powered Turbo Grafx-16/PC-Engine. It is not an emulator -- you need to have actual cartridges to play (or CDs, as this includes the SuperCD add-on), but this will make the games display at 1080p and play on modern TVs. It can utilize bluetooth controllers or OG controllers and accessories. Also, it does not support openFPGA. (But if you know what that means, you likely already know this.)
These niche products tend to turn into collectibles that require people to pay high prices if they don't order upon production. For example, the emulation-based TG16 mini that launched for $100 a few years ago is now 3x-4x that price on the internet shopping sites of your choosing. So while this is technically retail price, if you're interested, patience may not be rewarded.
It comes in both North America (black) and Japan (white) color options. TG16 FTW!

That's the reason I ignored it
It will have Analog OS. But there's no way that you care about that without knowing what this is in the first place. But it's a nice bit of info if you're just learning about this product.

That is not the whole story. No OpenFPGA, no guaranteed jailbreak. No jailbreak, no ability for the community to improve upon the core. It's a d*ck move on their part.

Um, has Analogue paid any royalties to SNK to build this hardware? No? My position is not off base as there is a double standard here.
Edit: Meant to say NEC and not SNK. Bonkman corrected me on this goof below.
And, of course, the elephant in the room is that they don't want to open up the possibility of legal action if they make it so that people can pirate games. Duo has an SD card slot which obviously means people will try to throw ROMs onto it and bypass cartridges. That can lead them into a legal fight that they don't want to be a part of. I know Pocket was jailbroken almost immediately after it got openFPGA last year.
