I was going to wait for the v2 of either this monitor or the Samsung G85SB but so tempting with the AMEX $120 CB off $599. That would put it near the all time low that B&H had it for $770.

Thanks, been looking at this monitor for a month or so now. Really wanted a good 49" monitor to replace 2x24" but I think I'll need to stick with 2 different monitors.

Can someone explain how to get the amex cb? Do you need a business checking account?

This is a great monitor, I got one on the refurb deals a few month ago for about half this price.

You need an Amex Charge- or Credit Card. And the actual offer attached to your card.

I had an AMEX offer for 120$ off of $599+ purchase on dell.com, might want to check that if you have an AMEX card.

38 looks to be same price
The 38 inch is LCD, while the 34 inch in this thread is OLED.

I could never get that offer to work with Dell, but I was able to get 30% back on a few other websites so I guess it wasn't a total loss

I own this, bought it on the last sale. It's a very nice monitor, but it has one serious drawback! If you use it for longer than 6 hours, you have to run the pixel refresher to make sure it doesn't develop any image retention / burn in.

This only sucks because I use it when I work from home for 8 hours or more a day and it is frustrating to have to run the refresher in the middle of my shift.
