This one or the v8 origin+ ? I had the ball before it was good but too heavy and broken after 8 years. Going to get a cordless, have mostly carpet and only living room with hardwood. Will this work ? Thanks !

If you want the Fluffy head attachment, for delicate hardwood floors, Dyson's website has the Absolute for $400.

I bought this last July for $379 on 60+ TU SD post. Dyson via Walmart. Vacuum had been great, no issues, and I use it regularly. This is a very good price if you're in the market for one of these.

I had ordered a new battery (off brand) from amazon and it helped a LOT. Now I just upgraded a couple weeks ago though and the newer models are significantly better in my opinion but the new battery does help if you don't want to upgrade.
