V6 and V7 attachments won't fit other models.

I bought a refurbished v10 from Dyson's eBay store a few years ago. Love it. Use it everyday cleaning after my cat. The only thing I wished it had is pop-out battery like cordless power tools. Since no cordless vacuum cleaner on the market has this feature, I thought it was wishful thinking until I came across this battery adapter to use DeWalt batteries for your Dyson vac. Unfortunately, the adapter doesn't work with v10 and higher. It works with v7 and v8. So, if you don't want to be bound by the runtime of a single, sealed battery of your cordless vac, you may wan to check out v7/v8 + the battery adapter option.

Crazy! I still have the V7 which is going on 4 years old and still holds 30 minute charge on normal setting. Sounds like battery replacement is pretty easy from what I've read, I'd prob try that first, but that's just my opinion
