Not only did they wrap up the series completely however I think they did it according to plan. Not your typical "let's wrap up all the plot lines in 3 episodes after we figured out we aren't being renewed" half ass closure most scifi shows are lucky to get. Also great how the end ties into the original beginning so well.

Bonus points for not ending the series with a few bad seasons like Falling Skies did. That show started so STRONG then nose dived to the point I think they were trying to force a cancellation.

The original movie was excellent.

For this TV series version, it might be better to have never seen the original.
I gave up after 2 episodes and was sad that I wasted my time.
Better to read reviews on movie sites rather than deal sites.

Difficult to get re-boots to the same quality of the original because most of the modern writers are probably in their 20s and weren't even born when the originals were made - and probably never watched the originals or liked it.

Same for modern Trek, except Picard did meet the minimum requirements. Their tight little group of Trek production execs just went way off track with direction to writers just to blast out episodes and appear trendy and modern.

Unlike most sci fi shows it actually builds up to something more and more and hits the landing perfectly. If you don't have. I suggest buying it even if you have Hulu.

No. Season 2 is unwatchable garbage. I wouldn't even bother with it, except for maybe the last episode because of a cameo. And a great Picard and Q scene. No matter what you don't need to watch it to watch season 3 of Picard. Season 3 isn't perfect by any means, the 'bad guy' is just as lame as most of Star Trek, more so the movies, but it's just a lot of fun.

This show is Next Level good! Intelligently done so you need to stay tuned in. Worth the Journey! Picard Season 3 of Picard … WOW! Lots of hidden and direct references to 12 Monkeys in there . Watch them both and then rewatch them Again …
