Sport is 'meh'. Pay a tad extra for the normal variety. Good for cardio, but for lifting you're going to want a more serious pre. The ripped is just preworkout mixed with weight loss supplements.

These get me off the couch alright, but they send me right to the bathroom. Then my lips get itchy, and my body tingles, but boy do I get a good workout in.

With consensus on this not being a good pre-workout, what would be a few better options for lifting? I've been using post-workout but have never tried a pre one.

Yes it does have a laxative effect. Take 30 minutes before gym.
